Below you'll find a blog that includes the weekly practices that correspond to each week's message. Most of the suggestions are reminders taken directly from Sunday's program. Other times we may include additional practices that supplement those given on Sunday. And occasionally we will post various books, links, or other ideas that may help us in our spiritual formation.
In addition you will find a posting of each week's daily scripture readings.
The Bible, while written and compiled by many authors over many centuries, is actually one story, from beginning to end. It is all about God, His love for us, and His plan to fill all of creation with His glory. Through the God-breathed word of the Scriptures, we come to know God as He truly is, and we come to discover who we are, and what God's has planned for us. But that only works if we actually read the Scriptures, and it is most helpful if we read the whole Bible. Each week we will have two daily readings posted below, with the suggestion that you take a few minutes in the morning to read the first passage, and few minutes again sometime in the evening to read the second. If you follow our schedule of readings, you will read the entire Bible in two years. If you want to read the Scriptures online, you can do so at biblegateway.com.
