Our ministry with children is flexible to allow you as a parent to choose a worship format which allows your family to grow in relationship to God and to each other. Children are welcome to stay with their parents in the adult service or to participate in the age-appropriate activities of Vineyard Kids. Browse the information included to help you make your decision.

Your child may stay with you at your discretion. If you desire to place your child in the nursery, our loving, qualified caregivers staff a nursery for infants ages 6 weeks-18 months. This nursery is located on the main level. Access is from the foyer. When checking in your infant, you will receive a number. The number will be displayed on the screens in the sanctuary if your child needs you.
Our toddler class, meeting in a room in the lower level Vineyard Kids area, is designed to provide a safe, stimulating environment for our 18-36 month old children. Your child will experience the love of God through the caregivers and learn how much He loves them as they listen to a short Bible story. When you check your child in, you will receive a label with a number. That number will appear on the screens in the sanctuary if your child needs you.
**To protect our friends with severe life-threatening food allergies, this classroom must remain nut, egg, and dairy free. To facilitate this we ask that all diaper bags and back packs be placed on the rack outside the room. We will supply all snacks and drinks for this age group.
Our early childhood ages are active in exploring their environment, getting to know those around them, and experiencing the presence of God. The worship and small group times for Vineyard Kids are designed to help your child begin to explore stories in the Bible and how these stories apply to us today. Another important part of their time is spent learning about and experiencing God's love for them.

Your child's morning begins when you check them in to his/her classroom in the secure lower level Vineyard Kids area. At that time you will be given your child's name tag and number label for you in case your child needs you. If you are needed, your number will appear on the screens in the sanctuary. Your child will then go to his/her class where they will be met by loving teachers and will have a short time to eat a snack and interact with the other children through play. Next, it is time for worship! Children ages 3-5 gather together in the Vineyard Kids worship area for interactive worship and an enthusiastic, age appropriate story. Then your child will go back to his/her classroom for an activity to help them connect with the Bible story and with each other.
**To protect our friends with severe life-threatening food allergies, the preschool classroom must remain nut, egg, and dairy free. To facilitate this we ask that all diaper bags and back packs be placed on the rack outside the room. We will supply all snacks and drinks for this age group.**
Our Second through Fourth grade students are exploring who they are in Christ and what it means to be a part of the Vineyard Church.
After a brief time of praying for each other, they will gather with the younger kids for worship and then head out to the Gathering Room for their large group time. Lessons are designed to help them in having their relationships with God impact their day-to-day lives.
Fifth and Sixth Grades
Our Fifth and Sixth grade students are in that fun "tween" time in their lives and we have found a curriculum just for them!
After taking some time to pray for each other, the fifth and sixth graders will go through lessons designed to get them thinking about who they are and where they fit into the larger story that God has for them.
The last Sunday of each month is Family Sunday. Your child will check in upstairs and join the adult service for worship and communion. The pastor will then dismiss them at which time the children head downstairs with the teachers through the side door in the sanctuary. This is a fun time of celebration as the kids also help in leading the music and serving communion.
